Phish Alert button (PAB)

Thank you for calling this to our attention. MCCCD has recently rolled out a Phish Alert button (PAB) to your Gmail. It is no longer necessary to forward or create a ticket for suspicious emails - just click the PAB! The PAB can be accessed via the side panel which can be accessed by selecting the arrow in the bottom right corner of your inbox. 

Clicking the Phish Alert Button on a suspicious email will move the message to your Trash folder, automatically send a copy of the email to the Information Security team for further analysis, and provide a pop-up message that confirms your report has been sent.

Clicking the Phish Alert Button on a simulated phishing email will result in the pop-up message that will inform you that the email was a training phishing email to test SCC's susceptibility to phishing attacks.
