Placing calls from the phone
To place an internal call:
Step 1:    Pick up the handset.
Step 2:    Dial the number you with to call.

To place an external call:
Step 1:    Pick up the handset.
Step 2:    Dial the outside service number (9).
Step 3:    Dial the number you with to call.

Answering calls from the phone
To answer a call:
The phone rings…
Step 1:    Pick up the handset.

Placing a Call on Hold
To place a call on Hold:
Step 1:    Press Hold on the telephone to place the call on hold.
Step 2:    Press Hold one the phone again to retrieve the call from hold.

Using Voice Mail
To access your messages:
Step 1:    From the phone, dial 56699 (or press the Messages button).
Step 2:    From your desk phone press # or Enter your five-digit extension, then press # .
Step 3:    Enter your password, then press #.

Menu Options:

    1  Administer greeting
    2  Administer extended absence greeting
    3  Enable/Disable absence greeting

Transferring calls from the telephone
Blind Transfer – Immediate transfer to other extension.
Attended Transfer – Allows you to announce the call prior to the transfer. When using attended transfer, the caller being transferred does not hear you announce the call.
To complete a blind transfer call:
Step 1:    Press Hold on the telephone. You will hear a dial tone.
Step 2:    Dial the extension you with to call.
Step 3:    Hang up the handset.

To complete an attended transfer call:
Step 1:    Press Hold on the telephone.
    You will hear a dial tone.
Step 2:    Dial the extension you with to call.
Step 3:    Announce the call.
Step 4:    Hang up the handset to complete the
    transfer.

View Missed Calls
To view  a missed call:
Step 1:    Push Blue Down Arrow on key pad.

Step 2:    Scroll through names.
Step 3:    Use Exit soft key to exit.

Conference Calls
To place a conference call
Step 1:     While on a call, press the Conference or Conf softkey.
Step 2
:     Use the key pad to dial the telephone number of the party to be joined in the conference.
Step 3
:     Press the Dial softkey to initiate the call, or wait a few seconds for the call to be automatically dialed.
Step 4:
    If you want to transfer the held party instead, press the Transfer key.
Step 5:
    If you decide not to complete the conference, then the call can be terminated by pressing the EndCall softkey.
Step 6:
    You can complete the conference by pressing the Conf or Conference softkey.
Hang Up while conferencing:

• If you are establishing a conference call and want to hang up on the person you are calling, press the EndCall softkey.
If you hang up the telephone handset or press the Speaker key while the phone for the third party is still ringing, the other two parties will be connected in a blind transfer call.

Note:
Do not hang up the telephone handset or press the Speaker key unless you want the two calls to be connected in a blind transfer call. You can hang up the telephone handset or press the Speaker key after you connect with all the callers.
The conference call is now in progress.

NOTE:
You may conference yourself plus two other callers from your phone in a conference depending on available resources.

Sphericall Desktop Software
NOTE: Even if your computer is not turned on, you have access to the telephone and can receive and place calls from your phone set.
To start the Spherical Desktop  application:
Step 1:     Click the desktop icon
Step 2:     Sphericall Desktop opens and integrates with your phone set.
 

Long Distance Calls
From Sphericall Desktop: (software)
Step 1:    Click the Place Call Icon on the Sphericall Desktop Toolbar to access the dial Pad Window.

Step 2:    Using the mouse pointer, click the number on the Keypad to dial 9 1 Area Code Number

Step 3:    Click Dial button.

Note: Because you are using software, you will need to wait a few seconds to dial back to the phone.

From Phone: (no software)
Step 1:  To dial long distant calls from your phone you need to use the following:
 DIAL: *99 (your phone extension) * (your password) *91 (area code) phone  number you are calling, then hit the # key.

Forwarding Calls
Default is set to Voicemail
To Another Extension:
Step 1:    Click Configure on the Spherical Desktop Toolbar, select Forwarding or (Ctrl Shift F)
Step 2:    Click Add Forwarding button
Step 3:    Destination Tab: Number: enter number you wish to transfer your calls to
Step 4:    Apply Conditions Select: Immediately from dropdown list
Step 5:    Click OK
Step 6:    Click OK

To Outside Phone Number (cell):
Step 1:    Click Configure on the Spherical Desktop Toolbar, select Forwarding or (Ctrl Shift F)
Step 2:    Click Add Forwarding button
Step 3:    Destination Tab: Number: enter number you wish to transfer your calls to
Outside number check
 

Step 4:    Apply Conditions: Select Immediately from dropdown list
Step 5:    Click OK
Step 6:    Click OK

Note: From Spherical Desktop Software you can then select the number you wish to forward your calls to easily by checking the appropriate box.


Text Messaging
To send a text message:
Step 1:    Right-click on an extension and select Send Text Message or 
 Click text message icon then enter extension number and click OK.
Step 2:    Type your message.
Step 3:    Press Send button.

Options
