Employee Resources - Account Management, Change your Password


Q?  Account Management, Change Password?

A.  Follow these steps down below:

***Note:  You may change your Memo Email and Directory Password(s) from the Account Management Tool System, which can be accessed through;

Option 1:  The
Employee Resources site.  
              - Click on the Email Tool / Manage My Account (MMA) link as shown down below:

Option 2:  Through the
my.maricopa.edu site
              - Click on the  Change Password link as shown down below:

To Change Your Password:

Step 1:  Log into the Account Management Tool

Step 2:
  After logging in you are automatically directed to the Password and Security section
           - Enter your Current password in the first box, and your New password in the second and third box (for re-verification).  See the Note: ON PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS down below

Step 3:  If you wish to update your Account Recovery Questions as well simply check the box and the option to change your recovery questions appears as shown above.
(This is optional.  It is not a requirement to change your questions when you change your password)

Step 4:  Click on to apply changes

*****Note: ON PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS:


These complexity requirements are enforced when a password is changed or a new password is created.

Passwords Expiration Info:

- 90 day maximum password age (employees will be sent an email reminder when password expiration nears)

5 use password history (limiting re-use of passwords)

- 10 bad password lockout threshold (after 10 unsuccessful attempts, account will be locked and will remain locked for 15 minutes)

- 5 hour minimum password age - the password cannot be changed again for 5 hours after the latest change
